“Wow ... not sure where to start !! Upon arrival, I was very pleased to see that the property & its amenities were everything the website advertised. The accommodations and staff were absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived to the day we left, the Staff were very welcoming, helpful, considerate, genuine, & fun!
The food served was delicious and the service was top-notch. The traditional Balinese Dinner prepared for us was beautifully presented & delicious. The Staff made the entire evening magical; from the handmade decorations, the serving of wonderful dishes, to the entertainment following. I truly feel blessed to have had this opportunity.”

“First off let me say that Bali was on the bucket list and the country in no way failed to meet our expectations. Just a beautiful island and people. We went for 16 days staying 8 days in Nua Dusa and the rest in Amed at the Villa. Our stay at the Villa was beyond real. The minute we walked in to the grounds we were blown away. The staff had flower pedals on the steps spelled out "Welcome to Villa Paradiso". The pool, the bedrooms, the courtyard, private cottage with outdoor shower which I used often and of course the staff were truly amazing. I have an 8 and 11 year old and they played in the pool everyday. We felt honestly like royalty as the staff were always there to help us for anything. Komang Asih is kind of the main contact for food and anything else you need in the Villa. She is just a truly wonderful person. My kids even played with her son. Wis from across the street at Pazzo which is their sister restaurant is a great guy too. He helped for getting snorkeling gear and anything else we needed. Then there was Adi our driver. He was there on our beck and call. We made daily trips to snorkel and see the water palace which is a must see. The massages which are done right there in the courtyard were also incredible. The Balinese people and culture are so affectionate and family oriented its infectious. But truly we all felt the people in Amed had such a laid back, carefree and above all "good" quality to them that we felt we just lived there. I think thats what you want from a vacation to another country.
Robert Friedman and Wayan Menu who own / run the place have something really special here. I highly recommend the Villa or Golden Buddha which is on the same grounds. If you plan to go to Amed then this is the place to stay. The whole experience is truly unreal and the staff make it just perfect in every way. We plan to go back for sure!”

"Honestly, one of the best vacations we have ever had. If you would like to experience Bali like it was before it "was discovered," this trip is for you. We were able to get to know the most lovely Balinese people, take walks through their villages, and see their traditional way of life. We were enchanted and had so many unforgettable and beautiful experiences. Our driver took care of everything as we enjoyed unique excursions (see photos), fabulous dining, and new perspectives on the world. Most highly recommended!”

“This was a spectacular vacation experience. When we first accepted our friend's gracious invitation to join them for a week at a villa in Bali, we had no idea of what to expect, other than a very long journey by airplane and car. Would it be worth the journey for only one week? We can now say a resounding YES! Arriving at the Villa Paradiso, we were tired and worn out. As we walked through the doors, our burdens were lifted from us (literally!) by the welcoming staff, who showed us around the villa. "Wait, you mean, all of this is ours to use?". My husband and I snagged the upstairs bedroom, and we thoroughly enjoyed the view from the balcony every morning. The grounds of the entire complex are stunning. My favorite tree, the plumeria (frangipane) is all around the grounds and they were in full bloom. Their intoxicating petals fell on the pool and surrounded us with loveliness.
Every morning we enjoyed a beautiful breakfast on the back outdoor dining table. My favorite thing was the banana pancake. All of our meals were fantastic, and they seem happy to provide a large choice of western and Indonesian options that should satisfy the pickiest of diners.
Our driver, Komang's cousin, was a very solid and helpful person. I will mangle his name if I attempt to spell it. Let's just say the road conditions and driving experience is something that is best left to the professionals, and we highly recommend using a driver every day for an outing, so that you can enjoy the scenery and be confident you will arrive in one piece.
Komang and Wiz were extremely helpful and welcoming, I can say enough about their kindness and hospitality. In fact, we did not have a single bad experience in Bali, all of the people are so kind. If you have the time, try to get at least one massage at Villa Paradiso, you will not be disappointed. I had two!
This is a special place and I am so thankful that we took the opportunity to go. I hope to come back again some day.”

“WOW! We had a FAB-U-LOUS experience with Villa Paradiso!! 4 women - sisters and cousins - spent August 19-26, 2023 at the Villa and fell in love with everything about it. The Villa and staff were so welcoming, comfortable and relaxing that our 23 hour trip to get there faded away.
The staff were exceptional - the best any of the four of us had ever experienced. They were kind, professional, thorough and engaging. We appreciated their willingness to talk with us and share information about their homeland. I highly recommend Villa Paradiso, Amed, Bali, Indonesia!!”

“Excellent Villa! Lots of space for everyone with private full baths for each bedroom, several large covered seating areas, nice furniture and nice art work on walls. Our adult family could all be together or have our own private space. Food at on site restaurant was excellent, especially the included breakfast. Pool was plenty large. Staff was excellent! Super nice and accommodating. We enjoyed the quiet and traditional vibe of Amed. Highly recommend. “

“We had an amazing time at Villa Paradiso. The staff was outstanding and so friendly. By the end of our stay, the staff felt like family. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids). We loved our breakfast service every morning and especially enjoyed the host, Yogi, who helped us visit the beautiful, surrounding areas in Amed.”

“ We had a wonderful one week stay at Villa Paradiso in Amed and it truly was paradise. This incredibly beautiful villa is close to snorkeling beaches, a Hindu temple, and some wonderful restaurants. It's a day trip to Ubud, the monkey forest, and many talented artisans. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We were so pleased with Adi, our driver for our daily excursions and for transport from the airport and back. We enjoyed lounging by the pool, eating at the Villa as well as nearby restaurants, and taking in the spectacular sunsets from a local restaurant on the point. Overall a great time and a memorable experience. Many thanks to Yogi and his staff! We couldn't recommend more strongly!”

“We had an amazing time at Villa Paradiso. The staff was beyond lovely and made us feel so welcomed. We loved getting to know them and were sad to leave them when it was time to head home. Each one learned our names right away, made us feel welcomed, and greeted us as friends. The special dinner they made with the local decorations and dancers was the perfect way to wrap up and weak and beyond thoughtful. We kept marveling at their work ethic, kindness, and friendship.
The property was beautiful, restful, and more than we could have imagined. We loved lounging by the pool, watching the sun rise from the upper deck, listening to the roosters as they greeted the day, indulging in massages, browsing the nearby shops, and visiting the local beaches. Everyone found it a lovely place to rest and recharge and worth the long flight to get there.
We could not have asked for a better week away.”

“We stayed for one week at Villa Paradiso in Amed on the island of Bali, Indonesia. This incredibly beautiful villa is close to snorkeling beaches, a Hindu temple, farther to the coffee plantation, the monkey forest, but it’s a longer drive to shopping in Ubud. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They arranged for a driver for our daily excursions and for transport from the airport and back. We enjoyed lounging by the pool, eating at the Villa as well as nearby restaurants, and taking in the spectacular sunsets from a local restaurant on the point. Overall a great time and a memorable experience. Many thanks to Yogi and his staff!”

“We stayed in the Villa Paradiso and it was truly paradise. Amed is the perfect place to escape the crowds. It was worth the drive. The villa is so peaceful. The fountains not only sound relaxing, the emit a soft air of refreshment. Plants flower all over the property.
Golden Buddha served us dinner on the patio. They served us lunch by the pool. We ate breakfast every morning at the Golden Buddha and never tired of the choices.
I stayed in the casita. My favorite aspect of the casita was the outdoor shower with the moon shining from above. I spent time cooling off and reading in the private pool.
The staff was friendly, kind and went beyond my expectations to take care of our every need. Food recommendations were perfect. The driver was good at what he did and helped us get anywhere we wanted to go. The recommended dive shop was outstanding as well as the diving.
I recommend Villa Paradiso to anyone who wants to decompress and avoid the crowds of more touristy places.”

“We loved Villa Paradiso. We did our research beforehand so we knew what to expect and were excited to do some snorkeling. The staff is beyond fantastic and goes above and beyond to make you happy. They work so hard day and night. The villa and grounds are beautiful and there is a great little cafe and store across the street. The food was good and a short walk to the beach where we went snorkeling. We bought a week but wanted to see the rest of Bali so we only stayed here three nights. We wish we had stayed longer. It's such a relaxing place. Thanks to all the staff who made it fantastic and memorable.”

“Someone once told me I HAD to go to Bali before I died. Now that I've been, I've changed it to everyone has to stay at Villa Paradiso before they die.
My husband and I bid on a stay at an auction. I was a bit weary once I found out airfare was but again had that mantra in my mind as something I had to do. We gathered up some friends and family to stay at this amazing villa and did not regret one thing.
The house is downright luxury. Nothing was spared in making it very comfortable. There are en suite bathrooms in each room of the house making it very comfortable.
The BEST part of staying here is the staff. They take care of your every need. They cleaned the house, made our beds, made our food. Once the even brought us food poolside (yeah, cause we were so busy relaxing we couldn't bear walking across the road :)). We rented scooters and explored the area which is amazing. Regaee (an amazing Pazzo employee) scheduled us a private yoga lesson, drove us to the bigger cities, and even spent the day with my mother in law when we all wanted to do something she did not. Rio (kept us entertained - tending our bar, serving us food, and generally being there for our every need.
Bali is amazing place. I am so glad we stayed in the smaller string of villages (Amed) instead of a larger city. It was a bit of a drive from the airport but WELL worth it. When you arrive, staff greets you with cool drinks and large smiles. I felt so welcome at Villa Paradiso, in Amed, and in Bali.
One more highlight - my husband and I, our friends, and one other couple staying in the cottages behind the villa all renewed our vows at the end of the trip. The staff helped us plan the party, secured the suckling pig, and decorated the whole place for us. It was amazing!
I highly recommend this Villa. The owner Rob is there often. He was there for half our trip and it was fun to have the inside scoop on the island. We ended up eating breakfast with him and hanging a few times. It was great!
I would rate Villa Paradiso 7 stars if I could.”

“Loved everything about this place. The staff is AMAZING!!!!! They are the best part! The food, the ease of doing excursions, the atmosphere, the last night dinner and serenade with the team, and the accommodations were all amazing. Amed is a bit rural but you truly get the taste of Bali while staying here. Thanks for an amazing time!”
